Chorus 2 Songs

CHORUS 2 SONGS

Song 6  Say No Thank You  - Shereen, Mais, Ali L, Meriem + Chorus 2

Johnny looked like an angel in his suit and tie as he visited the queen of Boola Boola
And he'd hoped that he'd remember all the do's and dont's
Of the manners that he'd learned in schoola.

He greeted the Queen with a small polite bow  and he said "It's very nice to meet you."
and the Queen responded "
Johnny! The pleasures all mine!
and a host of strange foods I will feed you!"

Johnny took a little taste of some steamy, spicy soup and his face turned very red
as he struggled with a smile he heard a little voice  singing softly in his head
(and it said)

Say no thank you (say no thank you)  Say no thank you (say no thank you)
If the soup leaves you cold  you shouldn't sputter or scold
Just say no thank you  (say no thank you) Say no thank you (say no thank you)
press your napkin to your chin breath out and breath in .

For in many cases you'll find its true. What’s good to someone else may not, taste good to you.
So when that happens (so when that happens)  If that happens (if that happens)
Say no thank you.

Don't pretend that you are choking Don't fall down upon the floor
Simply smile, say no thank you. Don't run screaming out the door (Johnny??)

It's important that you don't insult your host,
But that doesn't mean you have to eat octopus toast!
(Johnny how about a little taste of octopus toast?!)  Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

Say no thank you. Toad’s feet (Say no thank you) Say no thank you Beef Borsht (Say no thank you)
Take a teeny little bite, it may actually taste alright.
Just say no thank you Pickled knuckles(Say no thank you)

Say no thank you Okra? (Say no thank you)
Put a smidge upon your plate Everybody can relate (Say no thank you)

For in many cases you'll find it's right even if you don't like something You can, be polite!

So when that happens Eel? If that happens French Fried Frogs? Say no thank__ you___
When that happens  Yams?If that happens  Rooster Lips? Say no thank__ you

There’s a big steel drum parade down in Jamaica where it’s sunny.

And our steel drum band can go if we can raise the ticket money.
Won’t you help us dear Ed wee hee hee na!

We had a little bake sale, we washed a lot of cars. We had a little telethon and sold some candy bars.

And before you could say Day-o we had earned us every cent.
But they had a sale on Gameboys and now all the money’s spent.
Ed wina___na. Dear Ed wi_____na! Won’t you help us… we don’t want to stay home!

Song 17- RICHER THAN A CELEBRITY- Maryam 6G (Mary Sue), Carol 6G (Betty Bob) + Chorus 2

 Mary Sue, Betty Bob
If you look inside your wallet or your dresser or your purse
And you find, how shall we say, the cupboard’s bare
There’s a lesson you should follow that at first is hard to swallow
But in time you’ll learn to use with style and flair

Chorus-Style and Flair

Mary Sue, Betty Bob
It’s a lesson that we learned from all our years down on the farm
In the rolling corn fields out in Illinois (Ill-ih-noy)  Chorus- Illinois (Ill-ih noy)
Now listen carefully, “If you’re off to the cite
Here’s some good advice for all young girls and boys… (Girls and Boys)

Don’t spend all your money, (No! No!) Bank a little honey (Yo! Yo!)
If you do your future will be sunny”          (Sun, Sun, Sunny, Sunny Sunny)
If you watch your spending,                   (Yep Yep!)
There will be a happy ending                  (You Bet!)
Put your money in the bank - and you’ll soon have ME to thank
When you’re richer than a ce-leb-ri-ty.

For example, if you’re holding your allowance in your hand,
And you’re passing by your fav’rite candy store (Fav’rite store)
Though you’re saving for a baseball glove you’ve wanted all year long
You can see those Ju-Ju-bees you just adore (Yum!)
And you go up to the counter top and to yourself you say
‘I deserve these Ju-Ju-Bees I really do’ (Of course you do!)
A vision may appear, and it’s really loud and clear, saying (Ahhhhh)
“I would put those back if I were you!”
What the heck’s a Ju-Ju- Bee?

All Girls:
Don't spend all your money,      Small Group- (Do you really need that)
Bank a little honey (I don’t think so!)
Being broke is really not that funny (Fun! Fun! Funny, funny funny!)
Put aside some cash now, (Yo! Yo!)
Start a little stash now (Grow! Grow!)
If you care about each cent, and you saved instead of spent
You’ll be richer than a cel-eb-ri-ty.

Chorus Girls
That’s a really lovely outfit, let’s go out and see a show
All the girls are meeting up for crazy golf and we really want you to go (Yay!)

Mary Sue, Betty Bob
Don’t forget your friend on the farm (Neigh!) Fun shouldn’t cost you a leg and an arm
Pick the thing you want the most or your savings will be toast

All
Don’t spend all your money, (Save it up!) Bank a little honey, (Make it grow!)
If you do your future will be sunny” (Oh yeh!, Sunny and Funny)
If you watch your spending,  (Don’t spend like a fool)
There will be a happy ending, (And that will be cool)
Put your money in the bank- and you’ll soon have ME to thank
When you’re richer than a ce-leb-ri-ty. (Just imagine!)
Richer than a ce-leb-ri-ty. (Just-in Bieber!)
Richer than a cel-eb-ri-ty
Here comes the big finish. KERCHING!

Song 23 –Encore- Hola, Lola  EVERYONE!!!!

You’ll make friends in any language. Think of Lola and just say hi!
